The rapid growth of digital healthcare technologies has transformed pharmaceutical service delivery worldwide. Digital pharmacy services, including e-prescriptions, telepharmacy, medication reminder systems, and mobile health applications, have emerged as effective tools for improving medication adherence and enhancing healthcare accessibility. From a pharmacy practice and healthcare economics perspective, these technologies offer opportunities to reduce treatment costs, improve patient outcomes, and optimize healthcare resource utilization. The present study examines the economic impact of digital pharmacy services on medication adherence and healthcare cost reduction. Secondary data were collected from published literature, healthcare reports, and pharmacy practice studies. Comparative analysis was conducted using indicators such as medication adherence rates, hospitalization frequency, healthcare expenditure, and patient satisfaction. The findings reveal that digital pharmacy services significantly improve medication adherence while reducing avoidable healthcare costs associated with poor treatment compliance. The study highlights the importance of integrating digital pharmacy technologies into healthcare systems and recommends policy support for expanding digital pharmaceutical services.
