Abstract

Invasomes are specialized highly flexible and elastic vesicular nanocarriers design to optimize   Transdermal and dermal delivery of drugs. It consists of ethanol, phospholipid and trepans or terpenes mixture. Invasomes improves drug permeation due to the presence of lipid bilayer and ethanol, terpenes which disrupts the lipid matrix. The rate of permeation of Invasome is greater than other liposomes and ethosomes. The main objective of invasome is based delivery system is to improves patient compliance, safety, efficacy and therapeutic value This article reviews include preparation, characterization potential advantages in drug delivery.
