Abstract

The period following surgery is critical for patient recovery, requiring close monitoring, timely interventions, and emotional support. Traditionally, this has meant frequent in-person visits and extended hospital stays. However, with the rise of telehealth technologies, post-surgical nursing care is undergoing a transformation offering patients high-quality follow-up from the comfort of their homes while enabling nurses to deliver timely, data-driven interventions. A comprehensive literature search was conducted across multiple electronic databases, including PubMed, Wiley, Springer, Google Scholar, Web of Science, World Health Organization (WHO), Wikipedia, ResearchGate, Forbes, Medline, and Healthline.
