Background: Biomedical waste generated during healthcare delivery may expose workers, patients, waste handlers and surrounding communities to infection, injury and environmental contamination when it is not properly segregated and treated. Nursing students require clear, practical knowledge of safe disposal procedures before and during clinical postings. Aim: To examine whether an information booklet improves nursing students’ knowledge of biomedical waste management in selected educational institutes in Indore. Methods: The source describes an educational intervention assessed using a structured knowledge questionnaire and pre-test and post-test scores. It reports convenience sampling and an information booklet; however, the stated design, institutional details and sample numbers are not internally consistent and require confirmation. Results: The reported mean knowledge score increased from 9.85 ± 3.29 before the intervention to 13.32 ± 3.05 afterward, an increase of 3.47 points. The source reports t = −7.916, df = 59 and p = 0.001. These figures are reproduced as reported, pending verification against the original dataset. Conclusion: The reported results suggest improved knowledge after the educational material was provided. Causal claims should remain cautious because the study design and sample details need clarification.
