The present study examined the effectiveness of a structured educational intervention on knowledge related to Bovine Tuberculosis among cattle workers. The objectives were to evaluate baseline knowledge, assess the effectiveness of the teaching programme, and identify the association between pre-test knowledge scores and selected demographic variables. A quasi-experimental one-group pre-test post-test research design was employed. A total of 46 cattle workers from Kunnambatta and Kakkavayal milk societies were chosen through a convenience sampling method. Data were gathered using a structured questionnaire comprising two sections. After the administration of the pre-test, participants underwent the structured teaching programme, followed by a post-test conducted one week later. The results indicated a statistically significant increase in post-test knowledge scores compared to pre-test scores (p < 0.001), demonstrating the efficacy of the structured teaching programme. However, no statistically significant relationship was found between pre-test knowledge scores and selected demographic characteristics. The study concludes that the structured teaching programme effectively improved the knowledge of cattle workers regarding Bovine Tuberculosis, thereby fulfilling the objectives of the study.
